I have a certain complicated relationship with the Swedish retailer, H & M. The fabric may be bad, assembly may be spotty, and sometimes I just think the style is foul. That doesn’t go to say that I don’t get lucky here and there, but I’m picky and sometimes indecisive. I have a few things: a shirt, a pair of shorts, a pair of socks, and maybe some underwear but I never really just have that relationship with the collections.
H & M has been doing a lot recently including David Beckham’s Bodywear line that all the queens are drooling stupid over (did you see his VIDEO ADS?) and their collaboration with Vanessa Paradis (Johnny Depp’s new Ex) as the face of their new environmentally respectful collection, Conscious. They’re a smart brand that has some seasonal trendy treasures, and I mean did you see the line they had with Versace? I mean, it was Versace, just with the H & M label!
These are all promotional pictures Beckham did for the H & M website to help market this clever collab. The first shots of their S/S collection I found here from a random google search. Here are some of the pictures from their lookbook:
Who would buy a can of pickled pigs feet if it had a picture of David Beckham in his undies on it? That would be me. Probably.
